The Island Charm Award acknowledged the substantial contributions of PDOT-Beijing and TPB in establishing the country as a leading dive destination. This was clearly demonstrated at the Philippine booth, which drew a large number of dive enthusiasts and travel agents through focused business-to-business (B2B) sessions.

The delegation showcased two highly regarded main stage talks: “Dive Bicol: Explore New Depths, Discover Endless Wonders” by Mr. Joseph Trilles, DOT Region V Senior Tourism Operations Officer, and “Philippines: The Heart of Asia’s Diving” by Mr. Ireneo Reyes, Tourism Attaché for the PDOT-Beijing. Both highlighted the Philippines’ rich diversity and appeal of its underwater attractions.
