Manila, Philippines – In celebration of Pasko in Full Bloom, Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) is continuing its tradition of giving back to the community this holiday season. The property is sponsoring Christmas baskets—containing essential food items and special holiday treats—for 600 households in the Sta. Cruz area. WRCM is also donating 150 Besties of Joy plush toys to children, made possible through its partnership with SM City San Lazaro and SM Cares.

Launched in 2017, this cherished tradition of Winford Manila brings together the hotel and its neighboring barangays for an annual gift-giving activity dedicated to select underprivileged residents of the community. This year’s Christmasaya sa Winford, held last December 18 at the Winford Ballroom, transformed the venue into a festive haven where community leaders, local stakeholders, and WRCM employees came together to share joy, generosity, and the true spirit of the season.
During the program, Winford Manila’s President and COO, Jeffrey Evora, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the residents of nearby communities who have been part of Winford’s journey over the years. “We wish that Winford Manila’s simple Christmas Gift can bring joy and smiles to each of you who are here today. In our own ways, we want to make sure that your Pasko will always be in full bloom.” He also took the opportunity to thank the community for its continued trust and support of the integrated resort since it first opened in 2017.

In 2025, Winford Manila is partnering with SM Cares and SM City San Lazaro to support their annual Buy-One-Donate-One initiative. Each time you purchase a Bestie of Joy plush toy, you get to take home one cuddly companion, while another is donated in your name to a child in need through a chosen charity or foundation. Through this meaningful program, your purchase helps bring joy, comfort, and hope to children in underserved communities.

On December 26, Winford Manila and SM City San Lazaro formally turned over 150 Besties of Joy plush toys to Precious Heritage Ministries Foundation, Inc. This Manila-based, non-stock, non-profit, and charitable organization serves orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children, as well as disadvantaged families in NCR and Region IV-A. Through various programs, the foundation provides beneficiaries with food, shelter, education, and values formation to help improve their quality of life and secure a better future.
