When a semi-autonomous A.I. bot called Truth Terminal sprang up on Xchirping about everything from crypto token prices to religion and philosophy, it kickstarted a new meta not only in the crypto industry but also in the larger tech ecosystem. Truth Terminal signaled the start of the agentic shift, a new era of collaboration between humans and A.I.
In the months since then, A.I. agents have multiplied and matured. Today, there are multitudes of A.I. agents that schedule meetings, manage crypto portfolios and act as virtual assistants. Yet as the autonomy of these assistants increases, so too does the surface area for risk and misalignment.
