“I get my news from late-night TV.”

It’s the biggest self-own possible for an obvious reason. Most late-night comedians are on the far-Left, and they routinely distort the truth.

They downplay riots, push vaccine nonsense and promote massive hoaxes sans apology.

It explains why Jon Stewart refused to mock President Joe Biden for the leader’s obvious cognitive decline. Doing so would have impacted the 2024 presidential campaign, helping Donald Trump in the process.

And that just couldn’t be done.

So Stewart, ever the good soldier, didn’t joke about Biden’s mental state. He had endless material to work with, but he threw a few “Biden is old” gags into the comic blender and left it at that.

Now, he’s able to share the truth, nearly a year after it mattered most.

Stewart addressed the Left’s conspiracy theory about President Trump’s health this week. And, along the way, he let the truth sneak out.

“Of course, Donald Trump didn’t die in office, but I wouldn’t put it past him,” Stewart said, his voice rising in comic alarm. “Trying once again to take credit for something Biden has already accomplished.”

Big laugh. Applause.

They knew. They knew then. They knew now. So did Stewart. Except now he’s allowed to say so.

The former president shared news that he’s battling cancer following his White House exit, so Stewart wasn’t being overtly cruel regarding that diagnosis.

We all know what he meant, which is why his sycophantic audience laughed so hard.

Of course, Stewart wasn’t alone in hiding the decline.

The same holds for Stewart’s peers, although they couldn’t hold back reality following the July 27, 2024 presidential debate. Biden’s cognitive decline turned the sparring match into something dramatically darker, and suddenly Stephen Colbert had to confront the truth.

Now, it’s Stewart’s turn.
